Phlebotomy
The Phlebotomy program of 100 hours is an essential diagnostic tool for managing patient care. Phlebotomists perform an important and integral role in the healthcare field in both the In-patient and Out-patient environments. Accuracy and competency are the key components to a successful career in phlebotomy. This program is consistent with the school’s educational mission that focuses on the provision and promotion of quality, career oriented programs, provided through classroom presentation and hands-on laboratory experience.
Phlebotomy Admissions Requirements:
- English Proficiency
- At least 18 years of age (ID Required)
- Complete Enrollment Application
- Complete Personal Interview
- Physical Exam (Within the Past Year) – Including TB/PPD, 2 Measles & 1 Rubella or Titer (if born before Jan 1, 1957)

Phlebotomy Technician Certification:
Successful completion of our Phlebotomy program prepares student’s to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certification Exam. Testing is available at our facility for a fee of $105.00 and is a privilege for students who attend all classes and obtain at least a 75% grade point average on all tests and make timely payments. At the discretion of the Director, students who achieve below 75% on a section will have the opportunity to retest. In the event that a test date is cancelled, Branford Hall will give the students as much notice as possible and will assist with the rescheduling as dates become available. If arrangements are made for testing at our facility, and the student fails to attend the test date without proper notification or a Doctors’ note. Branford Hall will not refund the $105.00 test fee. Students who do not pass the NHA will have to wait one month before re-applying to retest. After passing the test, you will be issued with a NHAID Card and Certificate.
