Medical Assistant

For students who want a meaningful career in the healthcare field, the Medical Assistant program teaches the foundations of patient care procedures, medical office administration, and medical clinical practices. With this program, students can perform a wide array of clinical and human relations functions that help to improve patients’ experiences. Graduates of the program are prepared for successful integration into any medical office. Students who complete this program successfully are eligible to take national certification exams. Health Claims Specialist

As a vital part of the healthcare industry, health claims specialists (also called medical billers and coders) are responsible for processing insurance claims for healthcare facilities. In this program, students are trained in medical terminology, insurance forms, diagnostic codes, procedural codes, and procedures for processing medical claims. They may work in a variety of settings, including doctors’ offices, hospitals, or insurance companies. Paralegal

For students interested in the field of law, our Paralegal program prepares students to work in a number of legal settings, including private law firms, corporations, and government offices. Students of the Paralegal program gain a strong foundation in legal concepts in areas such as civil litigation, trust and probate, real estate law, and commercial law. Computer Networking Management

This program provides students with the foundation they need to enter the world of information technology (IT). With training in desktop support, operating systems, network administration, and network security, students will be ready for a variety of careers in the IT industry. Professional Fitness Trainer

Fitness is important for everyone. This program teaches exercise programming, interpersonal communication, and marketing skills that are necessary to become a successful professional fitness trainer. With this program, students will learn how to perform fitness assessments, design safe and effective workouts, support nutrition in healthy lifestyles, and develop a client base.
