Medical Coding I (Coding Principles) |

Computerized Billing Simulation (Medical Billing and Coding Applications) |
Because so much of medical billing and coding is done electronically, this course provides students with the hands-on opportunity to get used to the specialized software that is used in computerized billing. The students will participate in simulated medical billing situations and will learn to input patient information, make appointments, process simulated bills, and handle claims electronically. |
|
Billing & Coding Forms (Medical Insurance Processing) |
This course provides the essential background about the health care environment, the hospital revenue cycle, medical insurance, and coding and payment systems, and provides an in-depth study and practical application of the processing of claims. |
