Members had opportunity to network with other area businesses
Branford Hall’s Windsor campus recently gave back to the local business community by hosting a networking event.
The Tobacco Valley Chamber Alliance, a strategic alliance of the Bloomfield, Bradley Regional, East Windsor, Granby, Suffield, and Windsor Chambers of Commerce held a “Business After Hours” networking event at the Windsor Campus on March 19th.
A chance to make inroads
Attendees had the chance to network with each other in a social setting, allowing them to explore potential opportunities for new work or strategic alliances. Participants got to enjoy food prepared by Branford’s culinary arts students (from the Springfield Tech campus), as well as the chance to participate in raffles for prize drawings.
Joseph Cicchetto, CFO at Premier Education Group (Branford Hall’s parent company), and Tony McPeck, VP of Marketing at Premier Education Group, spoke to business owners about the career training programs offered at the Windsor campus, including:
- Professional Medical Assistant
- Health Claims Specialist
- Computer Networking Management
- Massage Therapy
- Professional Fitness Trainer
Completing an internship or externship is a requirement for most Branford programs of study. Hosting a Chamber of Commerce is just one more way that the Windsor campus is able to make connections within the community for the benefit of students’ and graduates’ career development.
