Three career training programs help northern NJ students build the career skills they need!
Finding a training school can be a frustrating task. If you’re thinking about going back to school for a career training program, then consider Branford Hall Career Institute’s newest campus in Woodland Park, NJ. The campus offers three programs that can be completed in a short amount of time. Applying to one of these programs can give you the technical skills you need to pursue a healthcare career. You could be out in the workforce in a year or less!
Check out what our three training programs have to offer:
Professional Medical Assistant: This program offered at our Woodland Park campus requires 32 weeks of day classes which can be completed within a year. If you need to take mostly night courses, the program can be completed in 60 weeks. Professional Medical Assistants are the healthcare workers who help the daily functions of a healthcare facility run smoothly. They maintain office records, prepare the exam rooms, assist patients during exams, and take vital signs. The New Bedford program features the training you need to build clinical, clerical, and human relation skills. There will also be an emphasis on clinical procedures and medical office administration. And you can also improve upon your communication skills in this program! If assisting others in a medical office sounds desirable, this could be a great career path for you.
Health Claims Specialist: Health claims specialists (also called medical billers & coders) prepare, submit, and process health insurance claims. They use the International Classification for Diseases (ICD-10) coding system to identify patient procedures and diagnoses. Research and organization are key for this job. These claims inform insurance providers and patients how much need to be paid. Our program offers training in medical terminology, coding practices, and ethical and legal considerations. This is a great job for those who like working in offices and don’t want direct clinical contact with patients.
Computer Networking Management: Our computer networking management program helps prepare students for an exciting career. You can learn many different computer support and networking tools. Students can learn how to maintain network security, install software and operating systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance. They are an integral part of the security and technological functions that help keep any business or service running. This program also offers students the skills to develop communication and interpersonal skills so they have the ability to advance in the business worlds. If you like working in active settings, you may want to consider this career path.
