They are responsible for processing medical insurance claims to ensure that healthcare providers are being paid correctly for their services. The medical billing and coding program at Branford Hall trains students on medical insurance claims, electronic health records, the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and using software programs that are commonly used in the industry. Computer Networking and Security
In today’s high-tech world, computer networking and security are more important than ever. Companies need to rely on their networks 24 hours a day. The Computer Networking and Security program at Branford Hall trains students for positions such as computer repair technician, helpdesk technician, technical support technician, network technician, IT support, and more. In the program, students learn computer repair and maintenance, computer networking concepts and security, common software programs, major operating system administration, and a range of trouble-shooting skills. Graphic Design and Animation
Graphic design and animation is a field that is constantly evolving and improving with new technologies. Branford Hall’s graphic design training program begins with the basics of graphic design, such as drawing, color palettes, and layout techniques. From there, the program features digital imaging and editing, web design and development, multimedia production, and video/audio production. Surgical technologists are important members of operating room teams. They are responsible for preparing the operating room with sterile instruments, sterile equipment, and specific supplies, such as drapes, gloves, and suction tubing. At Branford Hall, the Surgical Technologist program provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to enter this field, including how to create a sterile field, how to set up for a variety of surgical cases, how to sterilize surgical instruments, how to assist surgeons with putting on gowns and gloves, surgical draping, and more.
