Health Claims Specialist
As a vital part of the healthcare industry, health claims specialists (also called medical billers and coders) are responsible for processing insurance claims for healthcare facilities. In this program, students are trained in medical terminology, insurance forms, diagnostic codes, procedural codes, and procedures for processing medical claims. They may work in a variety of settings, including doctors’ offices, hospitals, or insurance companies.
